Disch![]() The family moved in 1953 to the Twin Cities area in Minnesota – rejoining both pairs of grandparents – where Disch attended both public and Catholic schools. Disch's first formal education was at Catholic schools which is evidenced in some of his works which contain scathing criticisms of the Catholic Church. Two rich girls sent to their late fathers dive bar in a small fishing town where you get tangled up in a love story for both. But if you like more long drawn romance with some spice but more depth I would suggest reading the Bellinger sisters series. Not to mention her fulfilling teaching career of wrangling second graders. If you're looking for a spicy read that jumps right into it then you will like this. Now a rude, crude bounty hunter has arrived on the back of his motorcycle to catch the killer and refuses to believe Taylor can be helpful, despite the countless hours she's spent listening to true crime podcasts. The book did go from 0-100 real quick between the two which was different than the other stories I read but I didn't mind because when you read spicy books like that you kind of know what direction it's going. It clearly wasn't about romance as much as lust but in the end I was satisfied with the turn out. If you don't like some raunchy talk and s-x scenes then this book will not be for you I read some reviews that others said it was not their style and they were disappointed in this story compared to others, but overall I did like the murder mystery aspect and the protectiveness that Myles had. ![]() Myles was pretty crass and obviously Taylor had desires and needs that had not been met before. ![]() Not going to lie, the story did start off a little slow for me, but once it got going I couldn't put it down.
